Brain Injury Alliance of Oregon director Sherry Stock has asked Attorney Aaron DeShaw to be a board member of the organization.
Aaron DeShaw has long been affiliated with the association through lecturing and attending the Brain Injury Alliance’s annual conference, as well as in sponsorship of the association. DeShaw has for several years met with families of brain injury survivors, free of charge at the request of BIAOR, to assist survivors and their families in moving forward in the most positive way possible after a mild, moderate or severe brain injury.
DeShaw is both a trial lawyer and a former Doctor of Chiropractic who worked in the field of diagnosing traumatic neurological injuries including brain injuries. He is a graduate of Western States Chiropractic College and Willamette University College of Law.
The Brain Injury Alliance of Oregon, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), non-profit association dedicated to creating a better future through brain injury prevention, research, education and advocacy and supporting our mission.
Founded in 1984, many of its founders had their own lives impacted by brain injuries sustained by themselves, a family member, or friend. The Brain Injury Alliance of Oregon today is a leader in brain injury support, education, prevention and advocacy. BIAOR’s leadership represents a cross section of people involved in the field of brain injury, including doctors, health care providers, lawyers, and researchers, as well as survivors and their family members. BIAOR works to raise public awareness, prevent brain injury through prevention education, and improve treatments through professional education and research.
