This past week, our lead lawyer Aaron DeShaw was one of 50 lawyers who completed Harvard Law School’s Law and AI program. The program included an internationally diverse group of lawyers from the U.S. government, large technology companies such as Google, and international law firms.

DeShaw was the only lawyer – Legal AI company founder selected for the program.
The Harvard Law post-graduate program considers the use of AI in a wide variety of industries including health, law, insurance, banking, intellectual property and additional fields. Given DeShaw's extensive background in healthcare, law, and intellectual property, and the use of AI in medical-legal settings he had extensive background for discussions on these topics.
One of several topics discussed is how tort claims arising from the use of AI, including self driving cars, will develop in the coming years.
DeShaw is presently working on two separate AI programs for lawyers - one aimed at helping with pre-litigation case analysis, and the second for how to synthesize medical and legal data to optomize litigation methods - notably how to discredit insurance doctors by reviewing the medical literature and comparing it to statements made within IME reports.
While at Harvard Law School, he stopped by Harvard Law Library, the largest law library in the world. The Law Library carries a number of books published by DeShaw's publishing company Trial Guides.
